Meet Dr. Thomsen — an eye care professional with an out-of-this-world background! 👁️🚀

A native of Rockford, Iowa, Dr. Thomsen began his career in computer science and physics, working on avionics systems for Navy and Marine Corps aircraft — and even contributed to NASA’s Space Shuttle Mission Control Center. 👨‍💻✈️🛰️

In 1992, he followed his passion for helping people see clearly, earning his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston and eventually joining Family Vision Center Atlantic in 2000.

With over two decades of service, Dr. Thomsen continues to bring care, expertise, and innovation to every patient visit. 💚
