Meet Jessica Richter, the face behind NVMHโจ
Jessica completed her Masterโs degree in 2021 through Bellevue University and jumped right into working in private practice with 8 years of mental health experience.
Jessicaโs goal since starting her career and opening NVMH has always been that if she can make even a small difference in the lives of those who come through her office doors, thatโs what itโs all about. Mental health isnโt talked about enough and she hopes to be a helping hand in our community for mental health therapy services.
Jessica states โI have a passion to help those who struggle with mental health. I think weโve all struggled at times and having that help and support is crucial. I want our small town community to know there are options locally. I love private practice for many reasons - I feel itโs a more intimate and one-on-one setting for my clients to feel as comfortable as possible, as well as the flexibility that comes with the scheduling. It works for my clients and it works for my family. Iโve always been driven to make a difference in lives of others around me. Through empathy, humility, humor, guidance, and knowledge, I hope to be part of a culture shift that prioritizes the importance of mental health.โ
Jessica and her husband, Greg, live on an acreage in Atlantic raising their children. In her free time, Jessica loves retail therapy with her daughters, spending time outside watching her boys ride dirt bikes, date nights to new restaurants - and you can always find her at one of her kidsโ numerous activities.
Jessica sees individuals of all ages, couples and families and accepts most major insurance carriers.
Her specialty areas are anxiety, depression, life changes, relationship issues, behavioral issues and mood disorders.
