JEM Research Institute was founded by Dr. James Goldenberg, Dr. Eric Kramer, and Dr. Mark Goldstein to provide promising new therapies through clinical trials for neurological conditions. Our board-certified physicians supervise every aspect of the study selection process to determine if a prospective trial is well-matched with our organization. Each study is chosen with careful consideration to ensure that no competition is evident between similar trials. Enrollment goals are almost always met and often exceeded. We’re proud to announce that Dr. Mark Goldstein, Co-Medical Director and President at JEM Research Institute, will be representing the Headlands Research clinical site network at the 2025 Alzheimer’s Association International Conference!

Board-certified in internal medicine and neurology, Dr. Goldstein brings decades of experience in both clinical practice and neuroscience research. He has led more than 125 clinical trials, many focused on progressive cognitive decline, and played a pivotal role in growing JEM Research into one of South Florida’s premier research institutions.

Dr. Goldstein is a passionate advocate for advancing treatment options in Alzheimer’s and other neurodegenerative diseases and continues to push the boundaries of what's possible in clinical research.
