We're saddened to hear about the three Rochester police officers shot in the line of duty, responding to a domestic violence call, and we firmly believe that violence only breeds more violence; we stand with the officers, their families, and all first responders.

Today we laid Richard Van Son to rest. His wishes were explicit that he wanted no one in suits and ties. He didn’t want a stuffy affair.
