This funding, tied to the expansion of the Sturdy Memorial Hospital Emergency Department, will help advance programs focused on family support, housing stability, community navigation, and access to essential health services.

In partnership with local organizations, we are addressing the factors that impact health beyond hospital walls and expanding access to the resources our communities need to thrive.

This Earth Day, we’re proud to share that Sturdy Health has been recognized with the Platinum Environmental Excellence Award from Stryker Sustainability Solutions.

This honor reflects our ongoing commitment to reducing waste, lowering emissions, and supporting a healthier environment for the communities we serve.

In 2025, our sustainability efforts helped divert more than 700 pounds of waste from landfills, while also generating cost savings that can be reinvested into patient care. This work reflects our belief that a healthier environment supports a healthier community. 🌎
