If you wear contact lenses, proper care is crucial for preventing infections and complications. Always wash your hands before handling lenses, replace them according to the prescribed schedule, and never sleep in contacts unless specifically designed for overnight wear. Use only fresh contact lens solution, never water or saliva, and replace your lens case every three months.

We've got a great selection of Sunglasses. And don't forget, just as you protect your skin from sun damage, your eyes need protection too. Prolonged exposure to ultraviolet rays increases your risk of cataracts, macular degeneration, and even eye cancers. Wear sunglasses that block 100% of UVA and UVB rays whenever you’re outdoors, even on cloudy days. Consider wraparound styles for maximum protection, and don’t forget that children’s eyes need protection too.

AMD risk factors include being over the 50, smoking, white race and family history of AMD. You can reduce your risk: don't smoke, exercise regularly, maintain normal blood pressure & cholesterol and eat a healthy diet rich in leafy greens, colorful vegies and fish. Have your eyes examined annually. Early signs of AMD can be detected in an eye exam and steps taken to improve outcomes.

Interested in contact lenses and wondering if they're safe? When used properly, contact lenses are very safe. The key is following care instructions carefully: wash your hands before handling lenses, use fresh solution daily, replace lenses as directed, and never sleep in contacts unless they’re specifically approved for overnight wear. Improper use can lead to serious infections, so please follow our guidance closely.
