This sweet boy was referred by his speech therapist after his teacher noticed he was becoming frustrated at school because classmates couldn’t understand him.

Dr Karrie’s evaluation revealed restricted tongue mobility due to a tongue tie.

✔ In-office procedure
✔ Local numbing only (no sedation)
✔ Minimal discomfort
✔ Eating normally within 2 days

The result:
significantly improved tongue range of motion to support his continued speech therapy progress.

WindHaven Pediatric Dentistry is a private practice owned by Dr. Karrie Lee, a Board-Certified Pediatric Dentist. We specialize in providing care for infants and children up to 18 years of age, and special-needs children for a lifetime. We offer convenient online scheduling for new patients.

Here at WPD, we provide comprehensive care for your child’s oral health which includes: dental cleanings, exam, radiographs, fillings, emergency treatment, and sedation options. We also specialize in taking care of newborns with tongue ties and with children who have sensory/motor issues or are on the Autism spectrum. We practice a conservative and an individualized approach to your child’s dental care because we know each child is special and so different!
