Dr. Matthew Prince Dr. Matt Prince is a fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon who specializes in arthroscopic and recon He is also a reviewer for the Journal of Arthroscopy.

Dr. Matthew Prince is an orthopedic surgeon with additional fellowship training in Orthopedic sports medicine. Dr. Prince completed his undergraduate degree in Physiology at the University of Colorado. He received his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2009. Matt completed his orthopedic surgery residency through Michigan State University at McLaren Oakland and the Detroit Medical Center. Following residency he continued subspecialty training with his fellowship in Orthopedic Sports Medicine at the Mayo Clinic. While in fellowship Dr. Prince assisted as Team Physician for the Minnesota Timberwolves, Minnesota Twins, and Rochester Ice Hawks. Surgically he focused on complex arthroscopic and open surgery of the shoulder, hip, and knee. His practice focuses on both surgical and non-surgical management of general orthopedic and sports related injuries. He has special interest in joint preservation and arthroscopy of the shoulder, hip, and knee. Dr. Prince is an assistant clinical professor for Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He has published numerous articles and textbook chapters on surgical management of multiligamentous knee injuries, meniscal tears, and cartilage injury. Currently he is a team physician for the US Ski and Snowboard team, Oakland University Athletics, and Stoney Creek High school. He is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons – AAOS, Arthroscopy Association of North America – AANA, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine – AOSSM, and the American Osteopathic Association – AOA. Dr. Prince is affiliated with the following hospitals: Crittenton Hospital of Rochester, Bald Mountain Surgical Center, McLaren Oakland Hospital and Troy Beaumont Hospital. We are excited to announce the TRI-21 Project - a new open collaboration to raise awareness for individuals with Down Syndrome, a cause that hits close to home for us and many others.

TRI-21 Project is a worldwide, open collaboration to all brewers to participate. October is World Down Syndrome Month, so brewers are invited to brew and tap their version of TRI-21 anytime in October and ask that a portion of proceeds go to a local GiGi's Playhouse, Inc., a Down syndrome achievement center founded in the Midwest that has grown to over 50 locations from coast-to-coast across the United States. Their goal is to change the way the world views Down syndrome while sending the global message of acceptance for all.
