Our employee spotlight for May is Ms. Annie Dowdell. Annie is the dayshift charge nurse for unit one at Arbor Lake Health and Rehab. Annie is always willing to help the nursing assistance provide care to the residents. She has a great laugh which always makes the new nurses feel welcome and comfortable. Annie‘s years of nursing help mentor new nurses coming into the field. Annie, thank you for your great compassion for the residents.

We had a great week at Arbor Lake celebrating a “Tapestry of Life”. We did lots of new activities and finished off with Steak on Friday.

For the month of April, Arbor Lake Health and Rehab would like to recognize Ms. Aliyah McGhee. Aliyah is a very positive and aspiring person to her coworkers and the residents at Arbor Lake. Aliyah wanted to build better relationships between coworkers, which in turn woukd benefit the residents. She has begun having parties/get-togethers for the staff to share time together and have ways to better support each other. She is also wonderful in the care she provides her residents. Arbor Lake Health And Rehab would like to thank Aliyah for her servant heart and leadership.

Today we said goodbye to Emma Ziph. She is a wonderful, loving soul that will be missed by us at Arbor Lake She is going on to pursue a passion with working with children. We know we will see her back to visit, but it will not be the same without seeing her here every day Thank you Emma for all you did for the residents.
