Leveling Up Recovery: Dry Needling + "Spark" ⚡️
Dealing with stubborn knee pain? We’re using a powerful combo today to help one of our patients get back on their feet! We are tackling two common culprits: Patellar Tendinitis (pain in that "jumper's knee" tendon) and Plica Syndrome (irritation of the sensitive lining inside the knee joint).

Check out this amazing hard work in action! Today, we’re working on some foundational skills that make a huge difference in how our kiddos move and grow.
By having our patient lie on her belly on a wedge cushion, we’re giving her "core" a serious workout. This position helps build the strength she needs for stability and balance.
While she’s working those muscles, she’s also playing a high-tech game ! 🚨
• Tapping the pods on the floor and reaching for the elevated ones helps her brain and body work together.
• This specific movement helps "integrate" early reflexes, which is just a fancy way of saying we’re helping her body move more naturally and efficiently.
It looks like play, but it’s powerful progress! 💪✨

Well this turned into a bigger job than expected!! Savannah was hard at work organizing one of our supply closets. 😆

Happy Birthday, Emily! 🎂
Help us wish a very Happy Birthday to one of our wonderful pediatric physical therapists, Emily!
Emily is the definition of grace and kindness. Whether she’s helping a child reach a new milestone or supporting a parent through a tough day, she does it all with a gentle spirit and a contagious smile that lights up the entire clinic.
We are incredibly blessed to have her on our team. Her dedication to her patients and their families is truly inspiring, and we couldn’t imagine this place without her!
Join us in the comments below to wish Emily the best day ever! ✨

We made the challenge harder by switching from simple tapping to picking up, moving, and stacking blocks in a specific order. This works on fine motor control, grip strength, and the brain's ability to organize a complex task. (Check out our previous reel!)

To help with recovery after his stroke (CVA), he practiced a timed 'touch-and-return' game. He had to follow a specific pattern of numbers, moving his hand from his chest to a target and back again, all while staying on beat.

02/23/2026

The patient is lying on his back, trying to keep a weighted ball steady on a board while moving his head to read. This forces his brain to separate his head movements from his arm movements.

While this patient was lying on her stomach, we worked on helping her brain overcome 'automatic' baby reflexes that make her body stiffen up. By reaching for a bar and moving rings from right to left, she is strengthening her back and neck while learning to use her arms independently.

We’re making this patient’s ACL rehab a bit harder (and more effective) by having her do squats on an unstable, wobbly surface to force her muscles and brain to work together. 🏋🏽‍♀️
