Melanie is one of our incredible Partner Liaisons, and truly heart-forward in everything she does.

A legacy builder as wife to Barry, mom of four grown children, and grandma to two, Melanie is also a friend to all and a faithful servant who loves Jesus body and soul. Her care for others runs deep, and everyone who knows her feels it. ❤️

From catering and wedding planning to running several businesses (including a working farm!), Melanie’s creativity, eye for detail, and passion for people shine in every endeavor. She has a gift for making people feel seen, welcomed, and loved.

Today, we celebrate Melanie and the warmth she brings everywhere she goes. We are beyond blessed to have her on the Healthbridge Global team! ✨

Eric has been saying “yes” to this mission from the very beginning; serving, leading, and generously giving his time, talent, and treasure along the way.

His fingerprints are all over Healthbridge Global, helping shape our story from day one.✨

But his favorite roles are easy to spot: husband to Julie, proud girl dad, and grandpa to four (with #5 on the way!).

And when he’s not investing in family or this mission… maybe you’ll catch him on a golf course. ⛳️

🌍 It’s From the Field Friday 🌍

For many orphans in Romania, nothing in life has felt permanent.

This week, they planted something that will be. 🌳

Some of the children at Rise Together planted fruit trees in the yard. 🌱
Small hands in the soil.
Roots going into the ground.

Fruit trees take time. ⏳

Time to grow.
Time to take root.
Time to bear fruit. 🍏

The home itself is finished and already full of life. But like any home, the personal touches take time. These trees are part of that story. 💚

For children who have rarely known permanence, planting something that will grow for years to come carries a quiet but powerful meaning. 🫶

What a joy to watch this building become a true home for these precious children!

✨It’s Who We Are Wednesday ✨

When people from the West go on mission, they often bring valuable skills and experiences. But they can also bring limited cultural understanding.

When it comes to closing healthcare gaps and sharing the gospel, NO ONE understands the needs and opportunities better than local doctors and leaders.

So we don’t come in saying, “Here’s the problem and here’s what you should do.”

Instead, we ask:
❓ What challenges are you facing?
❓ What has God called you to do about them?

Our role is to catalyze the vision God has already placed in their hearts. Lasting change happens when local leaders own the vision.

That’s why we always partner with leaders FIRST, and then with the work God has called them to.

🌍 It's From the Field Friday! 🌍

Most kids take birthday parties for granted. For many orphans, they never happen.

This week, the kids at Rise Together celebrated an 18th birthday in the home YOU helped build in Romania.

The kids decorated the dining room, gathered in the kitchen, and made their own pizzas together. They laughed, shared a meal, and celebrated like a family.

Because of your generosity, this place is more than a building. It's a place where everyday family memories can be made.

It’s a place where healing begins, where community is formed, and where young people are reminded that they are deeply loved.

We are grateful to see God’s provision and faithfulness through each of you who made this possible. 💛

Core Value #3: Humility & Interdependence

We don’t walk this mission alone.

We depend on partners across the globe.
We depend on teammates whose gifts strengthen the work.
We depend on the wisdom of those who have gone before us.

And above all, we depend on the Lord. 🛐

Humility reminds us that this mission is bigger than any one person.

And interdependence reminds us that God designed us to walk it together.

Grateful for the people He places beside us. Grateful for YOU!🤍

Last week, we shared photos from India. Today, we’re sharing what you don’t always get to see. 🤍

After four days of medical clinics…
After serving nearly 2,000 people with medical care and warm meals…
After pouring himself out completely…

Dr. L**h led the Hokey Pokey at the Children's Home. 🩵

You can see the exhaustion in his body. You can hear it in his voice. He was tapped out!

But when the children cheered and begged for one more round… he dug deep and did it again. 🕺

This video is the second round. 🙌

This is servant-hearted love.
This is joy in the midst of sacrifice.
This is what we do when we believe Jesus is worthy of being known; the source of true healing for both body and soul. ❤️‍🩹

That's what it’s all about. 👏👏

Thank you, Dr. L**h, for reflecting the heart and dancing feet of Christ so beautifully. ✝️

We’ve shared our Mission, and we’ve named the 8 Core Values that anchor it. ⚓

📌Today, we’re highlighting Core Value #3: Humility and Interdependence

Stand on your own two feet.
Sink or swim.
You’ve got this!

As a society, we admire independence.
We teach it to our kids.
It represents strength, success, and self-sufficiency.💪

But here’s what we know:
Self-reliance isn’t the whole story.

At Healthbridge Global, we believe none of us knows EVERYTHING, but we all know SOMETHING. 🌍

We have gifts to offer, lessons learned, and experience to share… but we do not walk alone.

We are dependent on those who have gone before us.
On partners who serve faithfully overseas.
On generous supporters who make the work possible.
On teammates with skills we don’t have.
And ultimately, on God. ✝️

We choose humility.
We choose interdependence.
We choose to learn.

Because the work we do is bigger than any one of us, and we trust the Lord to guide every step. 🤍

It’s From the Field Friday! 🌏

In early February, a small team of medical leaders traveled to southeast India to strengthen long-standing partnerships and expand care for rural communities. We went to build relationships. But God had greater plans. ✨

When asked to hold a medical camp, our team said yes… even without their usual team and supplies. By many miracles, the Lord made a way. 🙏

By His grace, nearly 2,000 people were served: children, orphans, the elderly, and those with disabilities.💛

Nearly 1,500 received eyeglasses, and 123 cataract surgeries were performed. All successful! 👓

Our team, bolstered by over 100 Indian volunteers, served tirelessly, offering compassionate care and warm meals to those who might not have eaten otherwise. Bodies and souls were nourished. ❤️

God restored sight, dignity, and hope. We give Him all the glory and pray He continues to open doors to share the healing touch of Jesus. ✝️

Last week, we shared our second Core Value: Long-Term Mentality, and LIFE Medical Center in Romania is a powerful example of what this looks like in action!🌍

This project actually sparked the fire for our founders to launch Healthbridge Global years ago. But our Long-Term Mentality isn’t just about how long we’ve supported LIFE Medical, it’s about the vision itself and the road ahead.

The mission has always been bigger than building a clinic. 🏥
The goal is to affect an entire culture.

We want to see a dramatic change in how people think about the unborn and about women’s healthcare in Romania, restoring dignity, value, and hope where they have long been missing. 🤍

Real change happens when hearts change.
And changed hearts change cultures.❤️

This is the power of a Long-Term Mentality; faithfully investing in people, knowing God is at work far beyond what we can see today. 🌱🙏
