Auburn Community Hospital

Auburn Community Hospital is a not-for-profit, 99-bed acute care facility located in Auburn, NY.

Founded in 1878 by a group of community-minded individuals who recognized the growing health care needs of Auburn and Cayuga County, the original 13-bed hospital was called Auburn City Hospital, located at the current site on Lansing Street. ACH is the sole provider of acute and general hospital services in Cayuga County and the surrounding areas, located in the Finger Lakes region of Central New York. Our mission is to provide compassionate quality care to our community. Over 95% of the physicians on staff are board certified in at least one specialty.

Auburn Community Hospital is pleased to welcome Migdalia Bonilla-Martir, MD, FACOG, as our new Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Bonilla-Martir brings extensive experience in comprehensive women’s health, clinical leadership, and advancing high-quality, patient-centered care. She joins ACH from Vassar Brothers Medical Center, part of the Nuvance Health system, and will lead the continued growth of Women’s Health Services at Auburn Community Hospital.

We are proud to have Dr. Bonilla-Martir caring for women across all stages of life and strengthening access to OB/GYN services in our community.

Auburn Community Hospital was proud to take part in the 2025 Auburn Holiday Parade!

It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the season together and join our community for a festive start to the holidays.

The ACH Outpatient Laboratory is moving to a brand-new location!

Please note that the Lab will be closed on Saturday, November 22, 2025 as we complete the transition.

We are excited to reopen on Monday, November 24, 2025, at our new, dedicated outpatient site: 1 Park Avenue (formerly Foresman Dermatology). This move allows us to offer improved access, updated space, and expanded convenience for patients.

New Hours of Operation beginning 11/24/25:
Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Auburn Community Hospital is proud to announce the opening of our expanded outpatient Physical and Occupational Therapy location at 8 Logan Street in Auburn!

This new 5,100-square-foot space nearly doubles our previous footprint and offers more room, more equipment, and greater access to therapy services for patients recovering from injury, surgery, or conditions affecting mobility and daily activities.

“Our partnership with providers creates a seamless transition from acute care to recovery, ensuring continuity and expanding access for patients,” said Ryan Donahoe, Director of Rehabilitation Services. “We’ve already treated 30% more patients than before and look forward to serving even more people in our community.”

The new location allows for continued program growth, additional staff, and improved access for patients who do not require hospital-based services.

Auburn Community Hospital was proud to participate in National Lung Cancer Screening Day on November 8th!

Our Radiology team, Lung Cancer Nurse Navigator, and Smoking Cessation Provider joined together to offer low-dose CT screenings and education on the importance of early detection. Events like this strengthen our mission to make advanced diagnostic care accessible close to home.

Lung cancer is most treatable when found early. ACH offers ongoing low-dose CT lung cancer screening for eligible patients throughout the year. These screenings are designed to identify signs of lung cancer as early as possible and connect patients directly with our care team.

Patient pre-authorization and a provider’s order are required.
