Did you know that Naturopathic Doctors in California can be Medi-Cal Ordering, Referring, and Prescribing Providers?

Dr. Greta became credentialed in 2015. This means that when she sees patients with Medi-Cal (California’s Medicaid program), she can:
• Order blood tests and imaging
• Prescribe medications within the ND scope
• Refer patients to specialists
—all of which are covered by Medi-Cal.

What’s not covered? The office visit itself.

As licensed Primary Care Providers, Naturopathic Doctors could play a meaningful role in addressing the ongoing primary care shortage—especially for patients relying on Medicaid. Yet current policy prevents NDs from billing Medi-Cal for visits.

This campaign asks legislators to address that gap.

Just a note to say we will be closed next Wednesday, July 9th, but open as usual the rest of the week. ALSO, some peoples' GPS is taking them all around town when they try to find our new location at 101 Orange Street. Beware!

Just take the Hwy 49 exit (119B) off I-80 and turn left at the "T" at City Hall on Lincoln Way. When you get to light at High Street, just go straight through and up one very short block (just behind the Auburn Bodega and kitty-corner to St. Luke's Episcopal Church). Our building will be straight in front of you and the driveway and parking lot are across the street to the left.

Dear Patients and Friends, our dear Lisa Babich (at the front desk) will soon be leaving us for retirement. (Her last day is July 3rd.) She has been such a blessing to our practice and to us personally these last (almost) 13 years and I'm sure many of our patients feel the same.
