While most decorations are already in place, our creative holiday spirit remains strong. Jeri, Virginia, Maureen, Donna, and Tom brought a Christmas village to life by painting it on wooden panels, now displayed as a standout feature in our hallway. At the same time, Lois, Judy, Jill, and Sue crafted a garland of cranberries and popcorn, adding a warm, festive touch to the dining room Christmas tree.

Elaine, Maureen, and Pat baked lemon cupcakes and topped them with pretzel Christmas trees. In the spirit of giving that fills this place year round, they happily shared their creations with other residents and staff. Everyone appreciated the thoughtful gesture and the delicious homemade treats.

We know Santa Claus is busy spreading good cheer this season, and we are delighted that our community was among his early stops. During our Breakfast With Santa event, he visited our dining room, sharing warm hugs and cheerful handshakes with children and kids at heart alike. To celebrate the season, residents came together for a cheerful keepsake activity. Residents made personalized Christmas ornaments using Bananagrams and Scrabble tiles. Everyone left with a unique decoration that reflected their creativity and community spirit.

Post-Thanksgiving, we wasted no time decking the halls as Christmas trees went up, lights sparkled, and festive decorations filled every corner. Amid bursts of productivity, residents and staff took joyful breaks to sing, dance, and share plenty of lighthearted fun. It was the perfect blend of hard work, holiday spirit, and community cheer.

On Saturday, Girl Scouts from Auburn and nearby areas visited to offer holiday carols and enjoy lunch with our residents. On Sunday, elegant ballerinas enchanted everyone with select scenes from "The Nutcracker." It was a magical weekend for our community!
