Kelly and Lisa were once again raising funds for the Alzheimer's Association. They hosted a baked potato sale that residents, families, and staff were happy to support. Many extended their generosity by also picking up Kelly's homemade desserts!

Brookdale Bend has a few special residents that bring joy to all! The Chickens of Brookdale Bend get regular cuddles and care from our residents. These are definitely the happiest chickens we've ever seen, and the residents look pretty happy too!

On St. Patrick’s Day, our community came together in a sea of green, with many dressed in the spirit of the occasion. Shamrock shakes were served while Irish music kept the crowd in high spirits. Overall, it was a fun-filled day.

During one of our bustling days, Elaine, Pat, Maureen, and Donna played UNO that morning and shared friendly competition. In the afternoon, Maureen and Donna joined Mary Jo to sew small purses. It was a productive day filled with teamwork and creativity.

As the Winter Games conclude today, we are pleased to share more photos from our own celebration. Staff and guests did more than cheer from the sidelines, they joined residents in the friendly competitions. The success of the event was made possible through teamwork and shared commitment.

For Fat Tuesday, we dressed in colorful masks and beads, our smiles reflecting the spirit of the celebration. Jazz music set the tone as we played Mardi Gras trivia and watched a live parade on TV. We topped it all off with sweet, sticky buns and would happily do it all again.
