At Longevita Pilates & Yoga Studio our mission is to bring positive change to each individual through Pilates, Yoga, Barre, TRX and other fitness regimes despite their current physical abilities or age. We want to enable our clients to find the best balance of strength, flexibility, coordination, and body awareness. This balance of mind and body allows our clients to improve their lifestyles and achieve their goals, be it fitness or rehabilitation with life changing results. We focus on functional fitness that will compliment any activity or fitness program/goals. Along with Pilates training, we feature exercises that mimic natural movements by combining strength, balance, and core in a way that typically leads to better muscular balance and joint stability. By incorporating Pilates and other fitness regimes, this can help our clients improve their cardiovascular fitness, lose weight, and continue rehabilitating after an injury.

The more often you do a habit — like rolling out your mat for Pilates, walking after lunch, or prepping a healthy breakfast — the faster your brain wires it in as your new “normal.”

That means you don’t have to wait for some magic day on the calendar. You just have to keep repeating the action — and the more often you do, the sooner it becomes automatic.

The 10-Minute Focus Reset
Choose a pocket of time after school drop-off, your lunch break, or before dinner prep, then pick one of the options below:

Read or listen to something inspiring. (A podcast, a few pages of a book, or a motivational article to fuel your mindset.)

Do a mini mindfulness practice. (No phone — just 10 deep breaths, journaling, or sipping tea with full attention.)

Take a walk outside. (Even just around the block — and no multitasking. Let your brain recharge.)

Sit outside and do nothing. (Yes, permission to simply be — maybe under a tree or on your porch.)

Write down your 3 priorities for today and one thing you’re grateful for. (It’ll instantly put things in perspective.)

Each of these will intentionally pull your brain out of reactive mode and back into calm focus.

It’s almost instantly relaxing — and it works.

In this class we will use crystal sound bowls to offer various sound frequencies to bring your body and mind into resonance and balance. Each bowl is tuned to a corresponding frequency of each chakra, or energy center in the body.
You relax comfortably on the floor wrapped in a cozy blanket as you allow the beautiful tones to flow through you. You may have sensations of seeing shapes or colors, tingling, floating, sleeping, and emotional release.

Most people don’t struggle with knowing what to do when it comes to fitness or wellness…



The hard part is the follow-through.
