The Tree of Lights is a beloved tradition that marks the start of the holiday season across Wesley communities. For each donation, a personalized ornament is added to a Christmas tree in honor or memory of someone special—creating a heartfelt display of remembrance and generosity.

Support the Wesley Community Foundation and help light up our trees with love.

Today, we pause to give thanks for the people who make Wesley what it is: residents who inspire us, families who support us, and team members who serve with heart every day.

At Wesley, community feels a lot like a college campus, full of learning, discovery, and new friendships. Reverend Leslie Ann Knight knows that feeling well. Her Wesley journey is woven with legacy, purpose, travel, curiosity, and a lifelong commitment to learning. From teaching ethics to exploring the world, she proves that “retirement” can be the start of a whole new chapter of inspirement: https://wesleychoice.org/legacy-a-3rd-generation-living-at-wesley/

Autumn brings new growth, and new beginnings, across Wesley communities. 🍂🏗️

At Wesley Bradley Park, the East Brownstone is taking shape with windows, roofing, and interior finishes underway, while site work begins for the Barndt Family Rehabilitation & Care Center. Over in Des Moines, the Creekside building and Terrace renovation are moving forward, promising new residences, dining spaces, and a performing arts center.

Every season brings progress, and this fall, we’re watching dreams take form one brick at a time. 🌿✨

🍎📚 At Wesley, learning never stops.

From classrooms around the world to Wesley campuses today, retired educators remind us that the love of teaching (and learning) lasts a lifetime. Their wisdom for students, teachers, and parents is as inspiring as their stories of resilience, adaptability, and joy.
