I took a trip down memory lane with some old photos like this one and felt happy about the journey Iām traveling.
Progress is often visible only after youāve buried yourself in the work toward your goals, then you look back to see how far you came.
When I started my training journey, I used all the methods that the well known fitness professionals recommended, both for myself and my clients. And I felt good at my craft, as long as people were there to see me for weight loss or muscle gain.
I was becoming increasingly frustrated that the so called expert methodology for helping people regain their ability after injury, fell short of any significant improvement. And I had a personal stake in figuring out a meaningful regimen, because my knees were in pain. I tried EVERYTHING! Physical therapy, acupuncture, ice baths, and massage; if someone said it helped, I investigated.
Unfortunately, there were only moments temporary relief, no long lasting recovery. That is until I discovered the Functional Patterns training program.
