🌷Last night, we had the pleasure of hosting a lovely Sip & Social at Sierra Ridge Memory Care as we warmly welcomed our new Executive Director, Brittany Hall 💜

It was an intimate and meaningful evening shared with our residents’ families, friends, and dedicated team members. Guests enjoyed a beautiful spread of hors d’oeuvres and fancy mocktails prepared by our incredible culinary team, while connecting and celebrating together.

We are so grateful to all of our department leaders who were in attendance, showing their support and helping make the evening so special. Moments like these remind us how strong and connected our Sierra Ridge family truly is.

Please join us in giving Brittany a warm welcome—we are so excited for this new chapter and all that’s ahead! 💐

🍀 Happy St. Patrick’s Day from our Memory Care family! 🍀

Yesterday was filled with smiles, laughter, and lots of green as our residents celebrated St. Patrick’s Day together. Our amazing care team and staff members joined in the fun, dressed in their festive green and ready to celebrate right alongside our wonderful residents.

We enjoyed a day of fun, easy activities followed by a festive lunch featuring corned beef and cabbage. The celebration continued with lively entertainment that had everyone smiling, clapping, and tapping their feet.

It was a joyful day spent making memories, sharing laughter, and celebrating together. We feel so lucky to be part of such a special community. 💚

🌷 Tis’ the season for Spring Cleanin’! 🦋

We spent this week going through puzzles, games, and holiday supplies, folding linens, and giving our activity spaces a fresh start for the new season!

Our residents were such great helpers! We couldn’t do it without them! 🥰

🥰 When you have the best helpers in town, you can do ANYTHING! 👍🏼

Today we kicked off the holiday season with our cozy Deck the Halls decorating party! Our residents opened up all our boxes of festive décor, shared stories, picked out their favorite ornaments, and helped bring the holiday spirit to life.

We baked warm cookies, sipped milk, played Christmas music, and enjoyed every moment together. It was such a joyful, heartwarming afternoon filled with laughter, memories, and LOTS of sparkle!❤️🎄

🍁 A Heartfelt Thanksgiving at Our Community 🍁

Last week we gathered together for our Family Thanksgiving Feast, and our hearts are still so full! It was a beautiful day surrounded by our residents, their families and friends, wonderful entertainment, and so many joyful moments shared across the dining room.

We are incredibly grateful for our amazing culinary team, who prepared a delicious feast with so much care, and for our activities department and staff who put their hearts into creating such a special celebration. A huge thank-you to the families who joined us — your presence, support, and love mean the world to us and to our residents.

Most of all, we are thankful for our residents, who bring warmth, laughter, and purpose into every day. They are the heart of everything we do.

From our community to yours, we hope you had a wonderful and meaningful Thanksgiving. 🍂❤️

🎉 “I Trust My Residents!” Challenge! 🎉

Today our care team, kitchen staff, dining crew, and even a few of our managers joined in on the viral “I Trust My Resident” challenge — and what a blast it was! 😄💙

With pool noodles in hand, our residents tried knocking cups off our team members’ heads — and the laughter that filled the room was absolutely contagious! This lighthearted activity brought everyone together for a moment of pure joy, teamwork, and trust.

It was a wonderful reminder of why we love what we do — creating moments of connection, laughter, and happiness with our amazing residents. 💕

Today, we took time to reflect on the meaning and significance of Veterans Day.

One of our residents, Jim, shared a wonderful story about his time in the Navy and even showed us a picture of the battleship he served on. It was such a special moment to hear his memories and experiences. We are so grateful for his service—and for all who have served our country. ❤️💙 🇺🇸

We look forward to our community’s “official” recognition ceremony next week on Wednesday, November 19th!

The season of giving is here, and Sierra Ridge is proud to partner with the Auburn Interfaith Food Closet for our Holiday Food Drive!

We invite our friends, families, and neighbors to help make this Thanksgiving season a little brighter for local families in need. You can drop off donations at Auburn Interfaith (1788 Auburn Ravine Road) OR right here, at Sierra Ridge in Auburn!

Llook for our big, beautifully decorated collection bin (lovingly decorated by one of our creative Residents 💛).

We’re accepting items such as:
🫘 Canned beans, soups/broths, and veggies
🍝 Pasta, rice, crackers, cookies and condiments
🍓 Jellies and jams
🧴 Toiletries like deodorant, toothpaste, and shampoo

Every contribution — big or small — makes a difference! Let’s come together as a community to spread kindness, warmth, and gratitude this holiday season.
