This evening I consulted with a lovely woman who needs lots of support for her journey with a loved one who is battling with dementia. Oftentimes, the family member has great needs; they are exhausted, grieving and struggling to survive. If you have a friend who seems to be in such a place, offer your time to lift them up whenever you can.

Understanding the changes of a loved one as they journey through brain changes can be a very frustrating and confusing time. It is filled with grief and too many regretful days. In my nursing profession working for a hospice in California, I consulted and educated many families; I also provided education to memory units, fellow staff persons and professional caregivers. I personally provided 24/7 care my mother who had advanced dementia for the last 16 months of her life. I am ready to help!

I am prepared to “meet” you on Zoom; this is a platform where we gather ‘live’ on our mobile devices. A telephone conversation is also a fine method if you prefer. This means that wherever you live in the United States, we can get started. A family consultation can include members in different states and all gather on Zoom.
