How Lucky 🍀 are we! The Auburn Fire Department and its elected board have chosen the Upstate Cancer Center at Auburn Community Hospital to be the beneficiaries of the proceeds from their cancer awareness t-shirts. Every year they sell t-shirts to support cancer awareness and select a location for those monies to go to best serve those in our community battling cancer. This year the have graciously selected us. The funds will help with transportation, supplies and other items that patients struggle to pay for. In all my years of medicine, none of us have ever experienced a patient throwing an appreciation dinner for the staff of the facility they received care/treatment in! I think it hit all of our hearts! We don't work in medicine for the thank you but it's always so nice to know you are all appreciated 💗 From the bottom of all of our hearts thank you Party Girl for reminding all of us that we make a difference and that it is appreciated 💗
