Squeeze those scapula together, contracting as hard as possible with a supinated grip (wrist turns in on the pull down). On the negative, be sure to let that weight go all the way up to allow for maximal stretch of your sides and lats. Keep the core tight. The rear deltoid is the most integral muscle for building a full, rounded shoulder that looks proper in tees and tanks. Summer is near and we strongly recommend 2 rear deltoid exercises per shoulder workout. One of them should be this, or a similar variation. Grip the weight very lightly. Choose a manageable (light) weight. Pull the DB apart. Straight apart. No swinging, no pendulum motion. Isolate the rear deltoid. Build great delts. Blessed be the non-believers. Ending a chest workout with a few sets of high reps on a fixed position chest press like this is a great way to polish off an already smoked chest. However, that wouldn’t be very Flex Level Fitness so we turn the hand around and change up the angle entirely. This will provide some brand new stimulus for growth and force the muscle to adapt.
