Boykin Spaniel with severe anemia (PCV 14%). The owners and the regular Vet feared the worst (cancer), but no tumors on ultrasound. Auto-Agglutination Test after the scan was positive, suggestive of Immune Mediated Disease. I always love being able to give good news, which is rare in my line of work!

Clinic Cats of COVID-19 #3 is............

Spider-Man! This sweet boy is the head of Thornton Animal Hospital in Opelika, Alabama. He was dumped at the clinic with a broken leg, wrapped in a Spider-Man towel, thus the name. He is such a handsome boy!

It’s always great to see what the Gall Bladder actually looks like after surgery. This sweet little dog is feeling a LOT better. Surgery was performed by a boarded surgeon.
