We’re so proud to share the inspiring story of Geny, a talented Maine artist who dreamed big and turned her passion into a small business — Eccentric Creations by Geny! 💙

Through opportunities offered by programs such as our Creative Trails Programs, Geny was empowered to create, grow, and bring her artistic vision to life. Her story is a shining example of what happens when creativity meets opportunity. ✨

Our Creative Trails Programs continue to open doors for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities — offering meaningful experiences in Music, Publications, Arts, and Exploratory Programs.

👏 A heartfelt thank you to the State of Maine OADS for recognizing our Creative Trails Team, and the important work they do in providing meaningful employment opportunities for those we support!

Last Friday, our halls came alive in the most spooktacular way! What was once an ordinary hallway was transformed into a world of eerie enchantment — draped in ghostly figures cobwebbed corners, floating witch hats, and sights straight out of a Halloween dream. The gym was no exception, fully reimagined as a hauntingly perfect scene from The Nightmare Before Christmas — a true masterpiece thanks to the incredible creativity and dedication of our one and only, Sarah Martin. It truly felt like stepping into the movie itself!

A huge thank you to every single person who lent a hand in bringing this Halloween magic to life — from decorating and setting the mood, to those who stayed later into the night to enjoy karaoke, dinner, and laughter with friends. 💜

Because of you, the individuals we support experienced the kind of joy, wonder, and connection that this season is all about. You gave them a night they’ll remember — and one they truly deserve!

📍 Lewiston & Auburn, ME
📅 Full-Time | $19.50/hr
💼 Non-Supervisory | Hourly | Non-Exempt

As a DSP Team Lead, you'll wear many hats: mentor, motivator, caregiver, and guide. You'll work hands-on in our residential programs while helping ensure quality care, support for fellow staff, and smooth day-to-day operations.

✨ What You’ll Do:
*Provide direct support to individuals in residential settings
*Assist with medication administration, appointments, and documentation
*Support staff training and ensure compliance during licensing reviews
*Help address safety, behavioral, and transportation concerns
*Communicate supply needs and attend staff meetings
*Balance frontline care with light administrative duties

✅ Qualifications:
*High school diploma, HiSET, or GED
*One year of DSP or equivalent experience required
*Excellent communication and teamwork skills
*Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and agency software
*Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and authorization to work in the U.S.

This past Wednesday was an activity night filled with paint, pumpkins, and plenty of smiles! 🎨 Our wonderful members let their creativity shine—designing everything from spooky to silly, colorful to classic!

From action shots of paintbrushes in motion to big grins proudly holding up finished masterpieces, it was a night that reminded us of the joy found in simple moments shared together. 🧡
