Congratulations Candy Salisbury, Housekeeping Aide/CNA, our Quest for Excellence winner for 2025! We are looking forward to honoring this year's outstanding Quest Winners at the banquet on November 13 at the Marriott in Indianapolis.
We proudly announce Candy Salisbury as our Quest for Excellence Award winner. Candy has been an integral part of the Betz family for the past three years serving as a CNA, as well as contributing in Laundry and Housekeeping.
Candy’s journey into long-term care was deeply personal. After her mother spent 24 years in a long-term care facility, Candy developed a profound appreciation for the compassion and dedication required to care for residents. When she needed a second job, she chose Betz and fell in love with the residents and meaningful work.
Candy embodies the CARE values in everything she does. She takes the time to understand each resident’s needs, fosters positive relationships with residents, families, and team members, and leads by example whether she’s on the floor or assisting in laundry and housekeeping. Her unwavering reliability and leadership make her a cornerstone of the team. One coworker shared, “Candy is the most dependable employee we have at Betz. You always know residents will receive amazing care.”
Candy’s commitment is unparalleled. She has not missed a single scheduled day of work. Her dedication extends beyond Betz; she works a second job alongside several of her 13 siblings and even built her first house with her brother’s help.
Candy enjoys gardening, traveling, and bowling, boasting an impressive average score of 289. Her work ethic, compassion, and positive spirit make her an invaluable part of the Betz community. We are blessed and thankful for Candy’s exceptional service, leadership, and unwavering commitment to excellence.
