Even Boogie couldn’t resist joining the fun at Betz Nursing Home today!

During our group activity, this furry friend made the rounds, soaking up pets, smiles, and plenty of attention from residents and staff alike. You could see faces light up the moment Boogie walked in! Moments like these remind us how powerful a little paws-itive company can be. At Betz, enrichment comes in all forms… sometimes with four legs and a wagging tail.

Having the Trine nursing students at Betz Nursing Home brings such a positive energy to our halls. Our residents enjoy the extra visits, conversations, and care, while students gain valuable hands-on experience and meaningful connections that simply can’t be learned from a textbook. There’s something special happening in the Betz kitchen.

From measuring and mixing to sharing stories and sneaking a taste of the batter, this activity was about so much more than brownies. Baking brings back cherished memories, encourages creativity, strengthens motor skills, and fills the room with laughter (and the best smells!). Most importantly, it’s another way we keep life at Betz full of purpose, joy, and meaningful moments.
