Five years ago today was my first day at AU Massage Therapy. The first couple of years were a bit rocky due to the pandemic, but overall, it's been a great journey thanks to all the amazing clients who make my job possible. I am so grateful for each of you and hope we have many more years working together!

Most of my clients come in complaining of neck and shoulder tension. My regular suggestion is that they incorporate yoga into their routine. The link below is for one of my favorite 10-minute routines specifically for neck and shoulders by Sara Beth Yoga on YouTube. It's great for all levels! Just be careful to stay within your tolerance levels and check with a doctor if you experience pain with any of the positions. May 2025 see us all with decreased neck tension and greater mobility!

It's the time of year when we are spending more time in our yards. Unfortunately, this can lead to encounters with plants and creatures that we would rather avoid - chief among them (for me) being poison ivy. Here's a little reminder about what some of the common poisonous plants look like. Hopefully, unlike me, you will be able to avoid getting poison ivy three times. 🌿
