How wonderful to be associated with such a remarkable part of Auburn's history.

The proclamation is scheduled to be presented to the community at the Auburn Public Theater on Tuesday, April 14, at 1 p.m. This event is open to the public (see article to make reservations).

"Mr. Hale, an English emigrant, resided in Auburn for nearly a decade after his arrival in the United States in 1902. He was employed and lived at The Home for the Friendless, which is now recognized as The Faatz-Crofut Home for the Elderly, located at 46 Grant Ave. During his time there, he served as a caretaker and gardener and was remembered as a diligent and esteemed member of the community."

The city of Auburn, led by Mayor James N. Giannettino Jr., along with members of City Council and the community, have officially proclaimed April 14, 2026, as Reginald Hale Remembrance

Some-bunny made a special visit yesterday! ✨

The Easter Bunny stopped by and brought plenty of smiles! The residents had an EGG-stra special time celebrating with a fun Easter Egg hunt!!

It was a joyful afternoon for all! 🐰🐣💐

She was great with all our residents and will visit once a month! 🗓️😊
