Some treats are tricky for your brackets — so before you dive into that candy stash, here’s your cheat sheet:
🍬 Avoid: caramels, taffy, jawbreakers, gummy anything, and super sticky or hard candies.
😋 Enjoy instead: chocolate bars (without nuts!), peanut butter cups, soft cookies, and melt-in-your-mouth treats.

🦷 The Tooth Fairy’s Been Busy — Time to Call the Ortho!

The oldest Gregoire kid is closing in on 7, and let’s just say… he’s got connections down the hall. 😉
(And yes, that same orthodontist may or may not have helped the Tooth Fairy out a little early — which backfired when he only had a $5 in his wallet. Oops.) 💸

While losing that first top tooth is always exciting, it’s also the perfect reminder that the American Association of Orthodontists recommends every child see an orthodontist by or at age 7 — even if they still have baby teeth!

🪥 Here’s why:
• Early detection = easier correction. We can spot developing bite or spacing issues before they become bigger problems.
• Growth guidance. Monitoring jaw growth and tooth eruption helps ensure everything’s moving in the right direction.
• Peace of mind. Sometimes, we just say “everything looks great!” and check back in later.

So whether your little one just got a visit from the Tooth Fairy or has a few wiggly ones on deck — it’s never too early to plan their first orthodontic check!

This week, we’re celebrating someone truly special — our very own Cecile! 💙

Cecile began her journey at the front desk back in September 1996 with Dr. Levy and has been a familiar, friendly face ever since. When Dr. Gregoire took over earlier this year, Cecile made the transition right alongside us, continuing to welcome patients as they walked through our doors.

Through nearly three decades (and countless world changes!), Cecile has been a steady, smiling presence for our patients and our team. Her dedication, compassion, and humor have left an incredible mark on Gregoire Orthodontics, and she will be so deeply missed.

Please join us in wishing Cecile all the happiness and relaxation she deserves in her retirement! 💐
