Nemaha County Hospital (NCH) first opened its doors on Sunday, April 28, 1963, welcoming area residents and dignitaries not only into a new building filled with state-of-the-art technology, but into a new era of healthcare. Our Mission is to continuously advance healthcare in Nemaha County. We are pleased that our staff and area physicians support this goal on a daily basis.

In light of the wildfires in March, we want to thank those who worked on the front lines in central and western Nebraska—and remind our community that prevention starts with all of us.

We’re proud to introduce a life-saving resource in our community: Narcan kiosks.

In partnership with our local hospitals, three kiosks are now available at ER entrances in Auburn, Falls City, and Nebraska City providing free and easy access to naloxone, a medication that can reverse an opioid overdose and save lives.

We’re also expanding this effort, with an additional kiosk coming to the Tecumseh hospital at the end of this month.

No questions asked. No cost. Just help when it’s needed most.

Together, we can make our community safer and support those in need. 💜
