Whether you're dealing with a picky eater or looking to introduce new foods, convincing kids to eat enough fruit and vegetables can sometimes be difficult.

Presenting foods in new and exciting ways can sometimes help kids get more excited about trying foods they may otherwise avoid. If your little one has previously avoided a food, try presenting it in a new way!

💡Did you know that research suggests that children may need to try a food 10-12 times before they learn to like it?

Be WIC Strong, apply today!

Raising a family can be tough, and the Cayuga County WIC program can help. WIC offers free nutrition education, breastfeeding support and information about other services available in the community. In addition, WIC provides healthy foods to qualifying women, infants and children.

WIC delivers personalized support to all qualifying residents. For your convenience, we also have clinics in rural parts of the county including Cato, NY and Moravia, NY. After the application process, our team will explain how the program works and offer support and referrals to help your family get off to a healthy start.

If you have friends or family that are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a child under the age of five, including fathers and caretakers, tell them about WIC! For more information about the Cayuga County WIC program, call or stop by our Auburn, NY office today.
