🚨SAFETY ALERT POST🚨Long but informative post

This post is to bring awareness of what some people are “prescribing” to patients. I have a client who was coming to me for weight loss. She was doing great lost over 40lbs. But due to financial concerns (which I totally understand) she stopped her treatment. Well she wanted to restart and went to another “clinic” for her weight loss. They told her yes we will get you on a GLP-1/GIP. She received her vial and started injecting.

Well during the month she said she was having pain with injections , burning and severe abdominal pain. She addressed it with “provider” (I would say lack of provider) she was told it must just be because the needle gets dull when you draw the medication from the vial. Fast forward she stopped after 1 month due to the pain and lack of losing any weight.

2 months went by from when she stopped that vial. She has since restarted treatment with me. We discussed her concerns and she just kept saying “I never had any issues with you and the medications, when I was coming to you in the beginning”. So I asked for a picture of the “medication”. And this is it!

Please look closely at the vial. It says for RESEARCH ONLY NOT FOR HUMAN OR ANIMAL CONSUMPTION OF ANY KIND!!!! Yet here is a “clinic” or whatever selling this is people! This is no fault of hers, she trusted these people to help and take care of her.

All I can say is PLEASE do your research on the providers you are seeing. Make sure they’re board certified, licensed medical professionals. Make sure they’re taking your safety seriously. This also goes for online places because “it’s cheaper”.

Yes there are online and other offices that are “cheaper” than me, but I want my patients to be healthy and safe above anything! 💪🏼

Happy hump day!!!!

I’ve had several conversations about hormone treatment in women the last few days!!!! It was taboo for so long despite all the amazing benefits of it!!!
