Here is my podcast! I had a lovely launch party last night (on the solstice of course!) and I am feeling so excited to share the voices of my midwife friends with you! They have inspired me to continue to provide care to women and families despite whatever I have had to deal with personally or professionally. This is a podcast about women who live, raise families, have hobbies, have struggles and also work as frontline midwives. Each voice brings new perspective to many life events that are universal human experiences beyond birth. Listen because you love midwives or because you need to hear how it's universally hard to juggle life and work (but we will keep trying!) or because you just need something different to listen to! I hope you find as much life wisdom woven throughout these tales about midwifery as I have. And if you enjoy, please share because one of the things I love most about podcasting is it is still dominated by word-of-mouth marketing 💜

It's been a long time since I posted. I have been working hard these last few months as I completely change up my business model...again! When I first started Mindful Midwifery, I had the goal of educating women and their families about health. Fast forward three years and I am back to that goal...with a twist! I love, love, love mentoring midwives. I want midwifery to grow, to thrive and to be a great field for those that go into it and for those that experience the beauty of midwifery care. I have been working hard to create a podcast that supports midwives and midwifery as a field. I finally have a title (one of the hardest parts for me in creating this!) and I am in the final edits of the first six episodes. I plan on launching in December so stay tuned!

I am really excited to be back on Tabitha and Kimberly's podcast this time talking about gestational diabetes! I know how little we explain this testing in the prenatal care office setting and how many people have questions surrounding the need for testing for gestational diabetes. I am happy to have a great resource now that you can share with your friends and family (and please listen if you have had GDM in the past!) if they are struggling with understanding the purpose of testing for it and monitoring sugars after.

We are excited to provide women the ability to meet several holistic care providers offering services to the extended Dover community. Meet a chiropractor, a counselor, a nutritionist, a lactation consultant, a doula and, me, a nurse midwife!
This event caters to women pre-conception through menopause. Come ask all the questions you can think of!
This is a no-pressure event. Stay 5 minutes or the full hour. It's up to you. There is no obligation other than registering (which is super easy). You might even win a gift basket if you attend!
