Larger Sizes. More Options. Same Trusted Therapy.

Proper measurement is an important step when selecting truncal compression garments.

In this video, we review how to measure key circumference and length landmarks—including the abdomen, thigh, knee, ankle, and inseam—to help support accurate sizing and appropriate garment coverage.

AIROS truncal garments provide compression support across the legs, hips, abdomen, lower back, and pelvic region, and are now available in expanded sizes to help more patients access therapy that fits comfortably and consistently.

From the moment you wake up to your morning walk, simple daily habits can play a powerful role in lymphatic wellness.

In this new blog, Adie MacKenzie, CLT-LANA, shares her personal approach to “low-effort” lymphatic care—small, intentional actions like deep breathing, hydration, gentle movement, and light skin stretching that support circulation and overall wellness.

💧 Your lymphatic system relies on movement to keep things flowing
🚶‍♀️ Even everyday activities like walking the dog or stretching can make a difference
✨ Consistency matters more than complexity

Whether you're managing lymphedema or simply looking to support your health, this is a reminder that wellness can fit naturally into your routine.

Your Questions, Answered by our Clinical Team.

Lymphedema:
This happens when your lymphatic system can't drain fluid properly. Usually occurs after surgery, radiation, or injury that damages lymph nodes. The swelling typically affects one arm or leg, feels heavy, and doesn't go away when you elevate your limb. Your skin might feel tight or thick over time.

Lipedema:
This is a condition where fat gets distributed unevenly, usually in your legs and sometimes arms. It's often painful and tender to touch. Unlike lymphedema, lipedema typically affects both legs equally and often runs in families. Your feet usually aren't affected, and elevating your legs doesn't help much.

Venous insufficiency:
This happens when the veins in your legs can't pump blood back to your heart properly. You'll often see swelling that gets worse throughout the day and improves when you elevate your legs. You might also notice skin color changes, varicose veins, or leg ulcers.

💤 Sleep is essential for everyone, but it can be especially important for individuals living with lymphedema or other chronic conditions.

During sleep, the body works to repair tissues, regulate inflammation, and support immune function. When sleep is disrupted or insufficient, it can make managing symptoms such as swelling, fatigue, and discomfort more difficult.

For people managing chronic conditions, prioritizing healthy sleep habits can support overall well-being and daily symptom management.

Some simple ways to support better sleep include:

• Maintaining a consistent sleep schedule

• Creating a calm, comfortable sleep environment

• Practicing nighttime relaxation or self-care routines

On World Sleep Day, take a moment to recognize the role that rest plays in helping the body recover and restore.

💙 Quality sleep is an important part of caring for your health.

⏰ Last chance to register — our webinar is tomorrow!

Join us for IPC for PAD: A Proven Technology, Revitalized, where Dr. John Evans will discuss the current understanding of Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD), including its epidemiology, risk factors, pathophysiology, clinical presentation, and diagnosis.

During the session, Dr. Evans will review the latest AHA/ACC PAD Guidelines and highlight the critical role podiatrists play in identifying and managing this progressive vascular disease.

We’ll also introduce ARTAIRA®, a cost-effective intermittent pneumatic compression (IPC) device designed for patients with PAD and diabetic foot ulcers. ARTAIRA is Medicare reimbursed and VA available, providing a noninvasive therapy option for both clinical and home-based care.

This program is designed to equip podiatrists with practical tools to improve vascular outcomes and expand treatment pathways for complex lower-extremity patients.

Is there a “best diet” for lymphedema?

Many patients ask whether specific diets like keto, Mediterranean, or low-FODMAP can improve lymphedema symptoms. The reality is that research is still evolving, and there is currently no single diet proven to treat lymphedema.

Our clinical advisor Adie MacKenzie, PTA, LMT, CLT-LANA, NBC-HWC, recently revisited a conversation with registered dietitian Jean LaMantia, who shared insights into the most common nutrition questions she hears from patients living with lymphedema.

One important reminder: everyone’s body is different. What works well for one person may not work for another, which is why personalized nutrition guidance can be so valuable.

💙 Today is World Lymphedema Day. 💙

At AIROS Medical, we believe it’s important to normalize lymphedema and the bodies that live with it every day.

If you feel comfortable, we invite you to help raise awareness by sharing the last photo you saved that shows your lymphedema — whether it’s your arm, leg, hand, or foot. It could be a treatment moment, a flare-up, or simply a real snapshot of daily life.

Post it to your story or feed and tag AIROS Medical so we can reshare it and help spread awareness.

These real, unfiltered moments help others recognize symptoms sooner, seek diagnosis earlier, and remind people living with lymphedema that they are not alone.

Your story could help someone get diagnosed sooner.

It could be Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD).
Common PAD symptoms include:

✔ Leg pain when walking

✔ Cold feet or toes

✔ Slow-healing wounds

✔ Numbness or weakness

✔ Skin or nail changes

If you notice these signs, talk to your doctor about a vascular evaluation. Early care can help protect your mobility and quality of life.
