🌟 Patient of the Month 🌟

Meet Shelly! Last summer, she had a fall at Cheney that shattered her pelvis, leading to major reconstruction and eventually a total hip replacement in December 2024. After the accident, walking even 30 feet required a walker, rest breaks, and sometimes her motorized scooter.

After time with Lauren her therapist, Shelly has now walked over 2 miles at the State Fair and just completed her biggest goal: the entire Wild Lights Exhibit at the zoo without help.

We are so proud of Shelly! On top of multiple surgeries, she also manages autoimmune conditions daily but she refuses to let any of it limit her. Her work ethic is unmatched, and she shows us every week what consistency and determination can do.

Shelly, you’re incredible. Congratulations on being our Patient of the Month. 🧡
