Physical Therapy By Phoenix offers expert care for ortho, pelvic floor, neuro, sports & TMJ rehab.

Located inside the ABAY Medical Plaza, this locally owned group that started Physical Therapy By Phoenix wanted an uplifting outpatient culture in which our experienced physical therapists provide one-on-one treatment in an engaging environment. Our patients receive hands-on manual therapy and exercise with tremendous improvement! We offer a variety of services in different expertise, including: Orthopedic Injuries, Pelvic Floor & Women's Health, Pre & Post Operative Rehabilitation, Sport-Specific Physical Therapy, Return to Play Assessment, Golf Injuries & Mobility Assessments, Vestibular, Dizziness, & Concussion Management, Neurological Conditions, Balance Training & Fall Risk Assessment, Headaches, dry needling, and many more.

🌟 Patient of the Month 🌟

Meet Shelly! Last summer, she had a fall at Cheney that shattered her pelvis, leading to major reconstruction and eventually a total hip replacement in December 2024. After the accident, walking even 30 feet required a walker, rest breaks, and sometimes her motorized scooter.

After time with Lauren her therapist, Shelly has now walked over 2 miles at the State Fair and just completed her biggest goal: the entire Wild Lights Exhibit at the zoo without help.

We are so proud of Shelly! On top of multiple surgeries, she also manages autoimmune conditions daily but she refuses to let any of it limit her. Her work ethic is unmatched, and she shows us every week what consistency and determination can do.

Shelly, you’re incredible. Congratulations on being our Patient of the Month. 🧡

🌟 AN OFFICIAL WELCOME TO BLAKE 🌟

Please help us welcome Blake to the Physical Therapy by Phoenix Augusta team!

Originally from Hastings, Nebraska, Blake earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Kansas State University before completing a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Driven by a desire to make a direct impact in people’s lives, Blake takes a patient-centered approach to care—focusing on each individual’s unique goals and helping them return to the activities they love.

Blake enjoys working with a wide range of patients, from athletes striving to return to high-level sports to individuals looking to regain the ability to play with their grandchildren. He is TPI Medical Level 2 certified, dry needling certified and has experience treating patients with traumatic brain injuries (TBIs).

Outside of the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Madeline, and their two boys. He also loves traveling, golfing, exercising, and attending Kansas State football games.

We're excited to have him on the team and look forward to all he brings to the clinic.
