Meet Our Team: This is Kara, our HR Manager. Kara was one of our first employees and has been with us almost ten years.

As our HR Manager, she handles recruiting, onboarding, and maintaining employee records. Kara also oversees office operations to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with company policies.

Kara comes from a strong military background as her husband is a veteran and both of her sons are enlisted.

Kara also has a daughter who is the mother to her only grandchild. When Kara isn’t in the office, you can find her spending time with her granddaughter or globetrotting to visit family and friends.

Meet Our Team: This is Tiffany, one of our Hospice Aides. Tiffany has been with us two years, but has additional three years of hospice experience.

As a Hospice Aide, Tiffany brings comfort and dignity to each patient — helping with bathing, dressing, meals, mobility, and more.

Tiffany is a valuable member of our team and always has a great attitude – no matter what the situation may be. She always has the willingness to pitch in and loves being able to provide one on one care to patients and their loved ones.

Tiffany enjoys spending time with her husband and son, when she isn’t working out.

Meet Our Team: This is Martie, our Patient Care Coordinator. Martie is one of our original employees and recently celebrated her tenth anniversary at SouthEast Hospice.

As our Patient Care Coordinator, Martie not only coordinates the intake process for all of our referrals, but also oversees our weekly Interdisciplinary Group meetings — a vital part to our individualized-care philosophy.

In her spare time, Martie enjoys spending time with her husband, four sons, and three grandchildren, and French Bulldog — Honey. You can often find her enjoying the beach during her time off.

Meet Our Team: This is Brooke, our Admissions Nurse. Brooke has eight years of hospice experience, with the past five being with SouthEast Hospice.

As our Admissions Nurse, Brooke is often the first contact our patients and their families have with our team. Her thoroughness and attention to detail during admission help the rest of our team provide the best individualized care possible.

Brooke loves assisting families fulfill a loved one’s final wishes.

In her free time, you can find Brooke reading a good book, spending time with her grandchildren, or enjoying a ride on her motorcycle.
