Good afternoon, I just wanted to give a little update Dr. Varnum is currently still out on medical leave and while he does hope to return sometime in the spring, I do not have a re-open date as of now. I realize this sun and semi warm weather is getting us all excited for spring but please continue bear with us!
I will be sure to post here as soon as I know more information. Thank you for understanding and we especially thank you for sending all your well wishes to Dr. Varnum, he appreciates all the support.
We miss all of our patients we hope this winter was well to you all and we hope to see you soon.

To our loyal patronage:

We want to be as upfront as we can, Dr. Varnum is currently out seeking full medical treatment at this time. Due to this our office will be temporarily closing effective 1/12/24.

The office will have limited hours to be able to get your records to you, any contact lens needs and MaineCare (under 21) glasses. If we are not here, and you are looking to get your records or have any questions please email us at aceofmaine254@gmail.com,email will be the best way to get in touch with us for the time being. Please provide your full name and date of birth. If you want records sent also include a mailing address and they will get them mailed as soon as we can.

Advanced Clinical Eye Care of Maine is seeking a full time technician/office professional at our growing Augusta office. Experience is preferred but not necessary. We will train the right candidate. Job duties include but are not limited to taking medical history, performing diagnostic tests such as visual fields, retinal photography, and visual acuities, cleaning and disinfecting instruments and exam rooms, scheduling appointments, and assisting the doctor with various office tasks. Applicants should have basic computer skills, good communication and organizational skills, and a willingness to learn. Hours are Tuesday-Friday 8:00am - 6:00pm.
