Meet Donna!

For almost 5 years, Donna has been an essential part of our Business Center team-managing incoming referrals and helping coordinate schedule changes for both our doctors and patients 🗓️

Outside the office, Donna is a proud mom of 4 and a loving grandmother of 6. When she’s not at work, you can find her gardening, relaxing at the lake, traveling, attending concerts, or spending time at her home away from home - Edisto 🏖️ But above all, her favorite thing is simply being with her family.

When we asked Donna what she loves the most about working at Augusta Eye MD, she shared:

✨ “ Working for people who appreciate the staff’s daily efforts and having leaders who genuinely care about their employees and patients. We are a family here. Even though I don’t communicate with patients face to face, it still gives me great joy to help provide our patients with the best experience possible.”✨

✨ Meet the staff Monday✨: Say hello to Noel!

If you’ve visited Augusta Eye MD anytime in the last three years, chances are you’ve already met Noel - and experienced her bright smile and exceptional care! 💙

Noel is one of our most versatile team members. You might see her at the check-in, check-out, assisting in the surgery center, or helping our triage calls. Wherever she is, she brings positivity, professionalism, and genuine care to every patient interaction 👁️

When she’s not in the office, Noel loves spending time with her family, playing softball, and snuggling with her two fur babies 🐾

When asked what she enjoys the most about working at Augusta Eye MD, Noel shared:

“ The relationships I’m able to to build with our patients and hearing their stories. Between the family updates, the things they’ve experienced, and the excitement when they know I remember their names - I couldn’t ask for anything more rewarding “

And here’s a fun fact: Noel is the baby of our practice - and she’s celebrating a birthday this Thursday! 🎉

Meet Ashleigh, a dedicated member of the Augusta Eye MD team! 👁️

Ashleigh has been an invaluable part of our practice for six years, bringing with her an impressive 22 years of experience in ophthalmology 🔬

Outside of work, Ashleigh is a devoted wife, mother of two, and a bonus mom to three. She enjoys spending quality time with her family, staying active at the gym, and soaking up sunny lake days in the summer 🌅

When asked what she loves most about working at Augusta Eye MD, Ashleigh shared that she values providing clarity and comfort to our patients, as well as the stimulating, ever changing environment that keeps her learning and mentally sharp.

Meet Sharon, our Front Desk Lead!

When we asked Sharon what she loves most about working at Augusta Eye MD, she shared:

“ As the Front Desk Manager at Augusta Eye MD, I get to do what I love every day-helping people feel welcome and cared for, the moment they walk through our doors.The front desk is the first stop for every patient, and I take pride in making sure their experience starts off on a positive note.

I really enjoy connecting with our patients-getting to know them, remembering familiar faces and being part of their journey toward better eye health. It’s rewarding to see how much a warm greeting or a little extra help can brighten someone’s day.

I also love working with such an amazing team. We all support each other and share the same goal : providing the best care possible. No two days are ever the same, but that’s what keeps things exciting!

I am proud to be part of the Augusta Eye Md family and play a role in making a difference in our patients lives every single day ❤️👁️

When I’m not at the office you can usually find me spending time with my family-I’m a proud mother of four and grandmother of two. I also enjoy relaxing with a good book or exploring local coffee spots. I believe in keeping a good balance between work and life, and I love bringing that same energy wherever I go!”

Meet Haley!

Haley is our amazing Lead Technician here at Augusta Eye MD! She’s been part of our team for 4 years and brings over 11 years of ophthalmology experience to our patients every day.

Outside the office, Haley is a proud wife and a mom of three ( two boys and one girl). When she’s not delivering exceptional eye care, you’ll likely find her at the baseball field cheering on one of her boys and her favorite team - Mayhem! ⚾️
