Notably, 13 Maine counties are designated as health professional shortage areas, with a staggering 3,500 or more patients per provider. Mobile healthcare directly addresses the needs of underserved communities. Most of us don't think much about our kidneys but 37 million adults in the United States have kidney disease. 90% of people with kidney disease do not know they have it.
1 in 3 adults is at risk due to diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, obesity, or family history. More than 90,000 Americans are currently waiting for a kidney transplant. 13 people die each day waiting for a kidney transplant.
Simple blood and urine tests can detect kidney disease early, when treatment is most effective. Early detection can slow or even prevent progression to kidney failure.

The numbers are in! In 2025 we hosted 161 mobile clinics across the state. That was a 53% increase in the amount of clinics we were able to do in 2024. We are looking forward to great things in 2026 as we continue to work to bring healthcare access to more patients this year.🎉🙌
