🌟 Meet the Staff Monday 🌟

We are proud to introduce you to our longest-tenured Service Coordinator, Cindy Nelson! Cindy has been an integral part of St. John Towers for nearly 20 years, dedicating her time and talents to serving our residents with compassion and care.

As a Service Coordinator, Cindy works tirelessly to organize and manage services that help residents maintain their independence for as long as possible. Through referrals, networking, and family connections, she ensures every need is met with professionalism and heart.

Cindy’s love for her residents shines through in everything she does. She proudly calls St. John Towers her “second home” and considers everyone here—staff and residents alike—her second family.

Outside of work, Cindy enjoys spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren. And when she’s not with them, you’ll likely find her indulging in her favorite hobby: shopping!

Please join us in celebrating Cindy for her incredible dedication and nearly two decades of service to our community.

This week we’re thrilled to feature Kerrie Sirmans.

Kerrie is a dedicated Service Coordinator who takes pride in supporting the residents of St. John Towers through provision of resources, case management, and emotional support. Known for her empathy and compassion for others, she thrives on helping others and assisting our residents in maintaining their independence for as long as possible.

“One thing I love most about working with the residents of St. John Towers is that they always find humor in any situation. People think that, as we age, we lose that zest for life. Every day our residents show us that that is not true.”

Outside of work, Kerrie embraces life as a proud Soccer Mom, enjoys relaxing while watching The Food Network, and cherishes every moment spent with her family.

🌟 Meet the Staff Monday! 🌟

This week, we’re delighted to introduce Debra Stewart, our full-time Chaplain here at St. John Towers!

As Chaplain, Debra provides a compassionate presence and spiritual support to our entire community — including residents, staff, and care partners. Her ministry includes one-on-one conversations, prayer, and spiritual care, both here and in hospitals or rehab facilities. She also coordinates meaningful spiritual life experiences such as worship services, Bible studies, devotionals, prayer gatherings, and choir — all designed to nurture spiritual growth and connection.

Outside of her work at St. John Towers, Debra is married to Robert, and together they have a son and a daughter. She enjoys exploring new restaurants with friends and taking road trips to the beach with family. Her favorite part of her ministry? Hearing the residents’ stories and sharing in their laughter each day.

We’re so thankful for the warmth, faith, and joy that Debra brings to our community! 💛
