Shepeard, a nationally known name in the blood banking industry and chairman of the Department of Medical Technology at the Medical College of Georgia, had a vision for the area - to create a community blood bank that pours life blood into the patients at our local hospitals. Today, Shepeard, partners with local hospitals across the two state area by providing blood and blood products to their patients in need.
