“And here we are, one month later!

Ellie is very expressive, makes the cutest little noises, gets big mad when we have to stop feedings to burp her and always has to have her leg out when she is in her bassinet. She also moves her hands around constantly.

Here are a few things that I have learned so far:

• C-sections are no joke
• The newborn trenches are also no joke
• Sleep deprivation makes emotions 1000x worse
• Someone so small can be so strong
• Pumping exclusively is hard, mentally/physically exhausting and extremely time consuming
• It's hard to sleep when the baby sleeps when they have to be on you all the time and will cry when you put them down
• Momcozy bottle washer is absolutely worth it
• So much LAUNDRY
• Having a hands on, supportive partner really is a make it or break it. I literally couldn't do this alone!
• The saying, " It takes a village to raise a child" is absolutely true. I am so grateful for all of the support we have.

Here's what Ellie has learned:

• Milk is great
• Cuddles are fantastic
• Bath time and getting changed are NOT fun
• If I cry I get picked up, fed, and cuddles
• Cats are cool
• I have everyone wrapped around my tiny little fingers and they will do anything and everything for me”
