The Right Thing to Do is never easy—but always necessary. Ask yourselves, if we don’t help, who will? Cutter’s Resource Closet exists to ensure that no one in our community goes without medically necessary medical equipment, supplies, or support simply because they cannot afford it—or don’t know where to turn. Born from the community service efforts of Interim HealthCare of Augusta and inspired by the legacy of Dana’s Recovery Room, Cutter’s Resource Closet was created when a vital local resource closed and the need remained. With the help of occupational therapist Jennifer Huff of Your Aging Therapist, Cutter’s Resource Closet expanded that mission to include free medical equipment, resource navigation, benefits coordination, and patient advocacy. We believe the right thing to do is rarely easy—but always necessary. If you don’t help them, who will?

Calling all Good Samaritans, we are in urgent need of volunteers today to help us with our public open hours today 12p-4p as well as volunteers regularly both for service days and behind the scenes work. 🙏

In addition to everything else we do here at Cutter’s Closet, we help navigate and in this case promote those ‘best kept secret’ type resources in the CSRA. And sometimes those resources come in the form of a person.

This amazing hospice agency is all about compassion and dedication, and it's the fabulous people like Monica who make it happen.
