Since 2022, the Piedmont Augusta Foundation has awarded over $880,000 in nursing scholarships to more than 90 deserving nursing students who through work agreements commit to Piedmont Augusta, Piedmont McDuffie, Piedmont Summerville or Piedmont Physician Enterprise, upon graduation.

On December 3, Piedmont Augusta Foundation awarded 29 Piedmont Augusta Hub nurses a total of $58,000 in scholarships to continue their nursing career education. Sherri Simmons, Director of the Women's Center and Oncology, shared her nursing education journey and the role that Foundation scholarships played in helping her reach the leadership position she holds today. CEO Lily Henson, M.D. congratulated the scholars and their managers for their dedication to Quality, Safety and Service.

Huge congratulations to Yasmin Mattox for winning the Miracle Mile Walk Raffle! Yasmin won a Club Car Tempo 4 passenger electric golf car. What a prize! The raffle raised a total of $19,480!
