Dr. Hunter is a compassionate, science-minded psychiatrist who takes a whole-person approach to care. With a background grounded in both medicine and pharmacology, she is particularly passionate about treating anxiety, mood disorders, PTSD, and complex medical-psychiatric conditions. Her philosophy emphasizes thoughtful diagnosis, compassionate follow-up, and making sure each patient feels seen, heard, and valued — not just managed.

She believes not everything should be treated with a pill and deeply values the collaborative role of psychologists and counselors in patient care.

Fun Fact: Dr. Hunter once sang and played piano in a gospel group. She finds peace digging in the yard after a long day and would love to have dinner with E.T. — because "we humans have a lot to learn from each other... and the fictional characters brilliant minds create."
