As part of Foundations Recovery Network, our purpose is to create lifetime relationships for long-term recovery. You aren’t just experiencing rehab and treatment at Skywood; you’re developing the skills and relationships you need to propel you into a brand new life. Here are some spooky highlights from our Halloween celebration at Skywood! We enjoyed painting pumpkins and decorating the lodge to get into the festive spirit. It was a pleasure for Scott Masi and Skywood Recovery to attend the inaugural Michigan RecoveryCon and Film Festival, hosted by CARE of SE Michigan.

This all day event featured prominent leaders in substance use treatment and recovery, along with panels aimed at reducing stigma and fostering community.

Scott, pictured here with Mark Hackel, a Macomb County Executive, spent time discussing jail support services and county wide initiatives to aid our community.

Meet Stephanie!

Stephanie is the newest RA here at Skywood. Stephanie says she came to Skywood to be of service and because she has a history of substance use disorder (SUD) and subsequent recovery from SUD herself. She currently has 3 years of continuous sobriety. She says working at Skywood is a gratifying and rewarding experience. Stephanie states she came here to give back what was given to her because she can only keep what she has by giving it away.
