Can’t make your appointment? Let another Veteran take it. When you miss an appointment without canceling (a “no-show”), it delays care for your fellow Vets.
Ways to cancel:
1. Text: Reply “C” to your appointment reminder text. (Text START to 53079 to opt in).
2. Online: Use MyHealth.va.gov or the VA Health & Benefits App.
3. Call: Dial 303-399-8020 and press 2 for scheduling.
By canceling early, you help a fellow Vet get the care they need sooner.

To our veterans living in Pueblo and the surrounding area, the PFC James Dunn VA Clinic Imaging Department will be closed, Wednesday through Friday, Feb. 25-27, due to staffing. Normal imaging operations are anticipated to resume on Monday, March 2.

Patients who need imaging services may either go to the PFC Floyd K. Lindstrom VA Clinic in Colorado Springs and utilize their imaging services or wait until normal imaging operations resume at the Dunn VA Clinic. If emergent images are needed, discuss a community care consult with your provider.

The planned weekend maintenance on the North Gate here at Rocky Mountain Regional Medical Center is scheduled to take place for the next two weekends of Feb. 21-22 and Feb. 28-March 1.

Due to this scheduled maintenance, use of the North Parking garage (PVN) on those weekends will be prohibited.

Please do not leave your car in the North Parking Garage over Friday night, Feb. 20.

The South gate, underground parking garage, will be available those weekends for patients and visitors.

Last week was VA's National Salute to Veteran Patients Week, which is observed each year during the week of Valentine's Day, a day of caring and sharing which underscores the Salute's expression of honor and appreciation to inpatient and outpatient Veterans.

This year’s observance for National Salute to Veteran Patients Week was Feb. 8-14.

The National Salute to Veteran Patients Week is held annually as a call-to-action from the community to honor veterans through volunteerism, donations, and visitation, which aligns with VA’s mission of putting veterans first.

Check the pictures below from last week's National Salute at VA Eastern Colorado, when our inpatient veterans enjoyed visits from Boy Team Charity 8th Graders, Mayor Mike Coffman and senior leaders from Space Base Delta 2, located at Buckley Space Force Base in Aurora.

On Wednesday, February 18, at 5 p.m., we will be hosting a patient Tele-Town Hall event for Eastern Colorado Health Care System patients. Agenda topics for the event will include leadership and health care system updates, as well as answering patient questions live on the call.
For the event, we are only able to dial out to a small sampling of our patient population to participate, but all are welcome to join. For patients on the randomized dial out list, you will receive a robo-call the night before, making you aware of the call the next day. If you do not receive a robo-call the night before, and would like to participate, patients can dial the event call-in line at 5 p.m. when the call begins. The event dial-in line for patients is: 855-274-9533.

As part of the National Salute to Veteran Patients Week, senior leaders from Space Base Delta 2 visited the Rocky Mountain Regional Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado, on Feb. 10, to honor and express appreciation for the nation's local inpatient veterans. The visit is part of the VA's Eastern Colorado Healthcare System and broader Department of Veterans Affairs’ celebration.
