Lindstrom Vet Express Update
We’re excited to share that as of March 30, the Vet Express clinic at the PFC Floyd K. Lindstrom CBOC is now open five days a week, Mon-Fri, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

If you haven’t used Vet Express before, it’s a walk‑in clinic offering same‑day visits for Veterans experiencing new, minor symptoms. It’s a great option if you need quick care while waiting for your regular appointment. No appointment needed — just stop by, now Monday through Friday.
Please note:
• Vet Express is not for life‑threatening emergencies.
• The clinic cannot provide same‑day imaging results.

For urgent or serious health concerns, please visit the nearest Emergency Department or call 911.
The Vet Express clinic is located on the second floor of the Lindstrom CBOC in Colorado Springs. Visit our website for more information- https://www.va.gov/eastern-colorado-health-care/programs/veterans-express-care/

Do you have deployment-related asthma?

Were you deployed to Southwest Asia or Afghanistan?

Are you having active asthma symptoms?

If you answered “Yes” to these questions, CU Medicine and VA Eastern Colorado are recruiting veterans to participate in a Deployment Related Asthma Research Study supplement research trial aiming to improve asthma control. Compensation is provided, research is done at the Anschutz campus in Aurora, Colorado. Participants will be asked to:

Donate blood and nasal swab samples
Take both a study supplement (called L-Citrulline) and a placebo for six to eight weeks at a time
Come to between five to six in-person visits over a 22-week period
Perform lung function testing
