Every moment you live is already slipping into the past, whether you hold on to it or not. Life is not something you can pause, rewind, or relive. It is always moving, always changing, always becoming something new.
In Buddhist wisdom, this is impermanence. Everything arises, stays for a while, and then passes away. Moments, emotions, people, even the versions of yourself you once were. Suffering begins when we try to hold on to what is meant to flow.
So instead of clinging, learn to experience. Instead of rushing, learn to be present. The beauty of life is not in keeping moments forever, but in fully living them while they are here.
Do not wait for the perfect time. Do not postpone joy. Do not live as if life will repeat itself.
Be here. Feel deeply. Appreciate fully.
Because this moment, just like the river, will never come again.
