STEP UP Inc. STEP UP Inc. is a faith-based non-profit organization dedicated to empowering people to have the quality of life to which they were designed. About STEP UP Inc.

Started in 1997 as Life Exchange Group Ministries (LEGM), STEP UP Inc. was founded by Frank McWhorter as a program to reach out to people who needed a drastic change in their lives. The LEGM team volunteered their time to help individuals become empowered to meet their need through classes, support groups, and counseling. Over a twelve year period, LEGM continued to grow its ministries and became STEP UP Inc. in 2009. While still aiding those in need of drastic changes, STEP UP Inc. began to expand its areas of focus to include substance abuse recovery, employment reintegration, and veterans in transition. STEP Up Inc. continues to work with individuals in hope to one day achieve it’s vision of a community of empowered people. www.stepupinc.org
