We are collecting gently used coats (all sizes) and non-perishable food or pantry staples to benefit our local food bank.

Your generosity will help bring warmth and nourishment to those in our community who need it most.

Donations can be dropped off at any of our Troost Cemeteries locations.

Fall cleanup will take place Oct. 20 – Oct. 31. Families are asked to remove any decorations or personal items they wish to keep before Oct. 20. Items left after this date will be cleared by staff. Thank you for helping us keep the grounds beautiful.

Did you know Lincoln Memorial Park is the largest cemetery in Kendall County?

The cemetery’s history begins with the Albee family, early settlers who arrived in 1836. Their farmhouse, built around 1858, still stands today as the cemetery office. In 1929, the land was sold and J.E. Westwood founded The Lincoln Highway Cemetery, named after the new US Route 30. A few decades later, it was renamed Lincoln Memorial Park.

In 1977, the Troost Family acquired the cemetery, continuing its tradition of care. For 26 years, Veneta Lentz served as General Manager, leaving a lasting impact on the community — with four generations of her family still part of the Troost Cemeteries legacy today.

Lincoln Memorial Park remains a peaceful and meaningful place, honoring Kendall County’s history while serving families with compassion.

Our cemetery office will be closed on Monday, Sept. 1st, in observance of Labor Day. The cemetery grounds will remain open for visiting from sunrise to sunset.
