Good Morning!! It is a cold day in Denver. For you kids and parents who get to stay in today and bypass the snow, lucky you! Below are 7 things you can do on this snow day!
1. Board Games - Who doesn't love them? Spend some QT the family and start buying property and solving mysteries.
2. Winter Cleaning - Alright, after all the fun is said and done, there's always time to catch up on that closet you've been meaning to get to weeks and weeks ago but haven't found the time. Here's your chance!
3. Movie, TV Marathon - Have you been meaning to catch that one flick on Netflix but haven't had the chance? Well, today is definitely your lucky day!
4. Spend time with one you love - Birth rates have been rumored to go up nine months after big blizzards and power blackouts, although subsequent reports said the supposed bubbles weren't real. (The urban legend arose from the 1965 Northeast blackout. The New York Times did a series of stories in which doctors said they noticed an increased number of births nine months later. The theory was debunked in 1970 by a University of North Carolina demographer.) Hey, it's #4 on the list! :)
5. Read, Read and Read Some more - Okay, have you downloaded endless books on that Kindle or Nook of yours, telling yourself that you will read this when you find the time? Well, nothing can be more perfect than today to catch up on some leisurely reading.
6. Cook, Bake, & Experiment - So it might not be a good day today to head out and do grocery shopping, but what a nice, relaxing way to bake up a storm for some delicious treats to enjoy in the comfort of your own home.
7. News - Catch up on the latest, current events...surf the net.. research things on Google you've been meaning to do.
