Clinicians from HCA HealthONE Spalding Rehabilitation recently visited Cherry Creek Innovation Campus to lead an interactive stroke rehabilitation case study for students in the Occupational & Physical Therapy pathway. Students walked through a stroke patient journey and discussed care considerations with an interdisciplinary team that included a nurse, occupational therapist, physical therapist and speech therapist.

This session is part of an ongoing collaboration between CCIC, HCA HealthONE Spalding Rehabilitation and HCA HealthONE Centennial, which also includes student shadowing programs. At Spalding, students observe the inpatient rehabilitation process and learn how care teams work together to support recovery.

Thank you to the Spalding team for helping inspire the next generation of therapists — and to all our HCA HealthONE colleagues across our system who take time out of their day to support Denver area students.
